‘Sweets for the Sweet’ Chocolate Truffles - These truffles are really easy to make and they will leave a sweet taste in your guests’ mouths long after the party ends. Here is what you’ll need and what you’ll need to do:
For Truffles
¼ cup butter
3 TBSP heavy cream
4 oz. semi sweet chocolate (finely chopped)
2 TBSP Orange juice
1 tsp grated orange peel
For Coating
4 oz. semi sweet chocolate (finely chopped)
1 TBSP Vegetable oil
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup pistachio nuts (finely chopped)
½ cup chocolate sprinkles
Bring butter and cream to a boil over medium-high heat.
Remove from heat and add chocolate, orange juice, and orange peel.
Stir until smooth and melted.
Put mixture into a large bowl and refrigerate about two hours or until firm.
Line baking sheets with wax paper.
Shape dough into tsp size balls and refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm.
Coating-
Prepare double boiler (1 pan over another pan, bottom pan filled with simmering water)
Melt chocolate and oil until smooth and melted.
To Coat Truffles-
Using two forks|:
Lower each truffle into melted chocolate
Carefully lift out and let the excess chocolate drain off.
Roll 4 balls in cocoa, 4 in sprinkles, 4 in pistachio or mix and match.
Return to baking sheets and refrigerate about 30 minutes or until firm.
*This recipe yields 12, so double the recipe at your own sweet discretion!

Sweetheart Berry Pie - This is another simple recipe that will make your guests’ mouths water. Here is what you will need and what you should do to prepare this delectable delight:
For Pie-
2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
18 separate strawberries
½ cup sugar
3 TBSP cornstarch
½ cup water
2 TBSP Fresh lemon juice
1 prepared frozen 9 in. piecrust, thawed, baked in a tart pan according to package directions.
For Pie Decorations-
3 oz. white chocolate morsels
Red food coloring
Pie-
Hull and slice strawberries in half.
Combine sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan and mix well.
Add two cups of strawberries.
Coarsely mash with fork or potato masher.
Add water and lemon juice, bringing mixture to a simmer.
Stir constantly until mixture thickens and remove from heat.
Cool completely.
Remove cooled crust from tart pan.
Spoon berry mixture into crust.
Arrange the remaining uncooked ½ strawberries in concentric circles over the filling.
Decorations-
In a double boiler, melt white chocolate.
Pour onto a cookie sheet and spread to 1/8 in. thickness.
Apply drops of red food coloring with toothpick and swirl to give marble effect.
Cool until chocolate is set, but not hard.
Press heart shapes with cookie cutter.
Refrigerate until chocolate is hard.
Place hearts decoratively on top of pie.
Eat!

Heartfelt Fudge - Here are the ingredients and the instructions to make the gift that keeps on giving (to the hips) long after the party ends. And for anybody who might complain about that gift to the hips, remind them that holidays have no calories!
                        For Fudge
            4 oz. unsweetened chocolate (coarsely chopped)
            4 packages (3 oz.) softened cream cheese
            ½ tsp vanilla extract
            1/8 tsp salt
            1 pound sifted confectioner’s sugar
Note: This recipe makes 16 pieces of fudge, so adjust your ingredients accordingly.
Line an 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, allowing aluminum to hang over edge.
In double boiler, melt chocolate and remove from heat.
Cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese on medium until smooth.
Add vanilla and salt.
Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth.
Add melted chocolate and beat until well combined.
Spread mixture smoothly in prepared pan.  
Chill for about one hour or until firm.
When ready, invert pan and slowly remove foil.
Cut into one inch squares.

Cherry Cherub Margarita - This super sweet drink serves four to six people, so be sure to adjust the measurements accordingly. Here is what you’ll need and what you’ll need to do to make one of the sweetest drinks ever:
1 cup fresh or frozen pitted sweet cherries
6 oz. tequila
4 oz. triple sec or orange flavored liquor
¼ cup fresh limejuice
2 TBSP superfine sugar
2 tsp grenadine
4 cups ice
*If using fresh strawberries, freeze them the night before the party.
In blender, mix all ingredients and add ice
Garnish with cherry or lime or both.
*This drink is just as good without alcohol. Just add a little orange juice to substitute liquor and your guests will be just as pleased!
